Apprentice / Assistant – Full Time

Art + Autonomy Salon is a high-end boutique, salon in the heart of SoHo. We’re a close-knit team of highly trained stylists who value creativity, collaboration, and great craftsmanship. Our goal is to deliver exceptional service in a warm, positive environment—and to invest deeply in education and growth.

We’re currently looking for a full-time apprentice/assistant who’s eager to learn, works hard, and loves being part of a small creative team.

What we’re looking for:

NYS Cosmetology License (or temporary license)
Self-motivated with a positive, service-focused attitude
Comfortable communicating one-on-one with guests and teammates
Passion for learning both cut and color
Enjoys teamwork and contributing where needed
Able to stand for long periods
Flexible schedule (Saturday, Sunday + Mondays required)
Willing to assist with reception duties
