You should own excellent programming skills and the ability to work in a stressful environment. Besides, you should ensure the correct structuring of the code to avoid any conflicts in the user interface. You should be able to spot any issues/glitches in the web application and rectify the same.
As a Web Developer, you should be able to create well designed and efficient codes. You should also ensure that the web applications are visually appealing and offer smooth functionality. Your ability to multitask and prioritize tasks is vital to the success of your role as a Web Developer.

Responsibilities
Planning, designing, and developing web applications
Undertaking website updates and changes
Developing test cases
Designing web applications using various scripting languages and web development tools like jQuery and GitHub
Keeping up to date with the latest web development practices and trends
Maintaining and updating backup files
Using a code that is properly structured, compatible across devices, and meets industry standards
Ensuring that the developed web application meets technical and customer requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
Proficiency in programming languages like PHP (Laravel/WordPress), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX and XML
Complete understanding of IT industry and SEO practices
Excellent technical and programming skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
Detail-oriented individual
Ability to work in a competitive environment
