Full Stack Engineer Developer

Full Stack Developers are passionate about all sides of the tech stack. This role is able to balance tasks and projects that are back-end focused as well as develop front-end areas system integration and architecture. Developers are integral members of the product team with direct ties to the success of the product. This role requires individuals with exceptional technical aptitude, attention to detail, and individuals who are strongly driven to create the highest quality product possible driving Rooster s technology to the top of the market.

Responsibilities
• Develop software according to end user requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with product managers to provide contributions on technical elements of sprint/iteration planning, estimation, risk, dependencies, and user stories definition.
• Mentor and guide junior team members on development best practices.
• Participate in sprint planning and/or provide accurate estimates on projects/tasks.
• Identify, document and implement programming patterns and set standards.
• Utilize software based system maintenance and tracking tools (Ex: Jira, etc).
• Support, troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including direct interactions with internal and/or external customers as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements in Engineering.
• Demonstrate willingness to work on your craft and take initiative in learning new skills.
• Perform code reviews as requested to enforce standards in the code base.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer; SaaS company preferred.
• Experience in back end and front end programming - HTML, CSS, Javascript/Typescript, React, Redux, NodeJS, Express, and JSON/REST-based web services.
• Experience with any of the following preferred: Google Cloud Platform, DevOps CI/CD, Serverless, Docker/Kubernetes, Cloud/Lambda Function, NoSQL Firebase Cloud Firestore
• Understanding of Agile principles or similar methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a remote working environment.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work to ensure overall timeliness and quality standards with no supervision. Ability to effectively manage against timelines, deadlines, and goals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change.
