Job Description
As the Fulfillment & Logistics Manager, you are the backbone of Hyperfoods' distribution network. You will manage the entire lifecycle of our inventory—from receiving bulk production at the warehouse to orchestrating large-scale shipments for distributors and corporate clients. Your goal is to ensure that Hyperfoods products move through the supply chain with zero friction and maximum cost-efficiency.
A. Warehouse & Bulk Shipment Management
• Inbound/Outbound Flow: Oversee the receipt of bulk stock from manufacturing and its systematic placement in the warehouse using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) principles.
• Bulk Order Processing: Manage the "picking and staging" of large-scale bulk orders, ensuring pallets are built for maximum stability and space optimization.
• Warehouse Shipments: Coordinate inter-warehouse transfers and maintain optimal stock levels across all storage nodes.
B. Distributor & Institutional Dispatch
• Distributor Network: Lead the dispatch operations for our pan-India distributor network, ensuring that secondary sales orders are fulfilled within SLAs.
• Institutional & B2B Bulk: Handle high-volume dispatch for QC, MP, and corporate clients, ensuring all specialized labeling and documentation are included.
• Logistics Orchestration: Secure and manage Full Truck Load (FTL) and Less than Truck Load (LTL) services for long-haul distributor deliveries.
C. Strategic Logistics & Compliance
• Route & Load Planning: Use advanced planning to consolidate orders, reducing the number of "empty miles" and maximizing vehicle utilization.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure 100% accuracy in GST Invoicing, E-Way bills, LRs (Lorry Receipts), and Transporter Manifests.
• Damages & Claims: Implement a strict "Zero-Damage" loading protocol and manage the insurance claim process for any transit-related losses.
Experience : 7–10 years in Logistics/Fulfillment, specifically handling Distributor & Bulk Dispatch.
Domain Knowledge : Expert knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and Freight Management.
Industry : Background in FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Pharma is highly preferred due to shelf-life sensitivities.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally) and logistics tracking tools.
Success Metrics (KPIs)
• Fill Rate: Percentage of distributor orders fulfilled in full and on time.
• Logistics Cost %: Keeping total logistics and warehouse costs within %age of total sales.
• Inventory Accuracy: Achieving 99.9% accuracy in physical vs. system stock.
• Vehicle Turnaround Time (TAT): Minimizing the time between a truck entering and exiting the warehouse.
Analytical Skills : Ability to calculate Freight-to-Sales ratios and optimize logistics spend.
