We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Front Desk Receptionist / Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. This position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing front office operations, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate financial records using QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will have extensive bookkeeping experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Administrative Duties

Greet customers, visitors, and suppliers in a professional and courteous manner.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
Manage office correspondence, appointments, and schedules.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
Process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
Provide administrative support to management and office staff.
Bookkeeping & Accounting Duties

Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare and issue customer invoices and statements.
Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledgers.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and supplier statements.
Monitor overdue accounts and follow up on collections.
Assist with payroll processing and employee expense tracking.
Generate monthly financial reports and management summaries.
Support year-end accounting procedures and work with external accountants.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 10 years of bookkeeping experience (required).
Minimum 10 years of hands-on QuickBooks experience (required).
Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications

Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or Business Administration.
Experience in the construction, building materials, retail, or tile industry is considered an asset.
Employment Type

Full-Time or Part-Time

Compensation

Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
Required Experience:

Bookkeeping: 10 years (required)
QuickBooks: 10 years (required)
Front Desk / Administrative Experience: 5+ years (preferred)
Only qualified candidates with significant bookkeeping and QuickBooks experience will be considered.

Pay: $17.20-$27.68 per hour
