Job Description
Looking for a part time Front Desk Receptionist to join the team at our small pulmonary/ sleep specialist office. Six months' experience in a medical office setting preferred. The ideal candidate will be able to handle interacting with patients in person as well as over the telephone.
Front Desk duties include:
- Assist with telephone calls and medical records including scanning patient documents;
- Schedule patient appointments;
- Check patients in and out;
- Collect co-pays and answer patient billing questions;
- Coordinate and update medical records; and
- Coordinate doctor's orders with other medical providers or equipment suppliers.
The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
- professional and punctual
- detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- strong customer service skills including communication
Schedule:
Tuesdays through Thursdays are required. There is an availability for work on Mondays and Fridays.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
