Job Description
We're looking for a reliable, motivated Front Desk & Marketing Assistant to join our small team on a part-time basis. This is a hands-on, varied role — you'll be the friendly face greeting customers and handling day-to-day front-desk duties, while also lending your skills to our marketing efforts. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves, and is looking for a long-term role with a small business where they can genuinely make an impact.
What You'll Be Doing
Greeting and assisting customers, answering phones and emails, and being the first point of contact for the business
General front-of-house and administrative tasks ("grunt work" included — think filing, restocking, basic data entry, and other day-to-day jobs that keep things running smoothly)
Supporting and contributing to marketing activities, which may include any combination of:
Social media content creation and scheduling
Email marketing/newsletters
Basic SEO and website content updates
General content writing (blog posts, promotions, product descriptions, etc.)
Following workplace health & safety guidelines and helping maintain a safe working environment
Taking initiative to spot small improvements or issues and following through without needing to be asked
What We're Looking For
Some experience in marketing — broad experience across areas like SEO, email, social media, and content is a plus, but solid experience in just one or two of these areas is also welcome
A strong work ethic and willingness to pitch in on a range of tasks, big or small
Good understanding of (or willingness to quickly learn) safe workplace practices
Self-starter with initiative — someone who notices what needs doing and gets on with it
Diligent and detail-oriented, with follow-through on tasks
Looking for an ongoing, long-term role (not just a short-term or stop-gap position)
Friendly, customer-focused attitude and good communication skills
Pay: $26.44 – $44.44 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
Dandenong VIC 3175: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
Marketing: 2 years (Preferred)
Work Authorisation:
Australia (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
