Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Guest Services Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Full time opportunity could come available after term.
Responsibilities
Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction.
Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about hotel services and responding to inquiries with excellent phone etiquette.
Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution.
Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software.
Assist guests with information and directions or recommendations for local attractions.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
Process payments and maintain cash drawer accuracy
Maintain records and balance daily transactions during shift and Audit.
Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of hospitality.
Requirements
Previous experience in Skytouch, guest services or hospitality is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel setting is advantageous.
Proficient in using phone systems and hotel management software.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
