Remote Owls is a budding news blog with a loud and clear motto. Our motto is very simple that is instead of a right-wing or left-wing’s perspective we would analyze the situation from an unbiased perspective. We are living in a very strange period when the right wing does not sound “right” all the time, and on the other hand left-wing also does not sounds “wrong” all the time. Therefore, it is better we see everything from a neutral and unbiased perspective. Don’t you think under such interesting environment content creation as a freelance writer would be an excellent side hustle?
As mentioned before as a way of side hustle you can definitely give us a try. Our entire team works from home. Presently, we are looking for a few freelance writer, and freelance graphic designer to be a part of our team. You really don’t need to be an expert to be with us. Rather, an insatiable appetite for “what’s going around” is the more welcome quality that we are looking for in you.
We are looking for a creative team that understands the value of content production as a way of side hustle. You really need to learn to dig into the past, present, and future with utmost curiosity. Instead of following norms, you need to create your own norms. A side hustle is successful when you can think out-of-the-box.
- Freelance Content Writer
Apart from Remote Owls we also have two more platforms and those are Smiling Rainbow and Propbaba. We also require various content for these two platforms as well. It is a WORK-FROM-HOME program, so owning a DESKTOP / LAPTOP computer with a HIGH-SPEED INTERNET connection is a MUST.
• Job Responsibilities - Freelance Writer:
- Conducting in-depth research on given topics;
- Drafting informative SEO-based content for different platforms;
- Complete grasp on writing various kinds of content that include blogs, articles, proposals, reports, booklets, brochures, webpages, whitepapers, etc with perfect precisions;
- Comparing the content of the competitors and drafting better content than competitors;
- Excellent ability to write captivating content for various products and services;
- Collaborating with graphic designers and giving them decisive suggestions on designs;
- Knowledge of keyword research is a plus but not required;
- Finally, robust motivation to attack deadlines with quality content is a must.
• Desired Qualification - Freelance Writer:
- Excellent content writing skills;
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills;
- Excellent research skill is mandatory;
- Ensure the content is free from any sort of plagiarism and grammatical errors;
- An impeccable grasp of writing in English;
- Exposure to writing content in flawless Hindi and other languages;
- An impeccable grasp of the writing, and that includes the current idioms and current trends of slangs of that language;
- Ability to describe highly complicated matters in an uncomplicated, informative, and yet captivating manner to the audience;
- Understanding of the latest SEO practices is desired but not mandatory;
- Knowledge of on-page SEO is desired but not mandatory;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, English, or any other related field is desired by not mandatory.
