Job Description
We’d like a web designer to join the Newcastle office. The ideal candidate will have experience in web design, particularly in an office environment, and will possess strong graphic design skills to create visually appealing websites.
Requirements
• Experience of web design, ideally in an office environment
• Strong graphic design skills to create visually appealing websites
• Ability to code clean, semantic HTML and CSS
• Ability to create web pages that work on different devices and screen sizes
• Understanding of JavaScript for dynamic and interactive elements
• Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles
• Awareness of the W3C standards and knowledge of cross-browser testing
• Understanding of best practices for search engine optimisation
• Excellent communication skills - both with clients and colleagues
• Great problem-solving skills and high levels of creativity
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team and an awareness of customer care
• Ability to manage time effectively, especially when working on multiple projects
