Role Description The Freelance Video Editor at Maa Production will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished, engaging video content that meets project objectives and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and organizing footage, editing video sequences, applying basic sound adjustments, and collaborating with producers and creatives to refine storylines. The role also involves color grading, integrating motion graphics or titles when required, and exporting final deliverables in appropriate formats for various platforms. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kota, requiring consistent presence at the studio and close coordination with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
Qualifications
• Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including assembling footage, managing timelines, and creating cohesive narratives.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance the overall look and feel of projects.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics elements to support storytelling and branding.
• Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing tools.
• Attention to detail, strong time management, and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and openness to feedback, with the ability to collaborate on-site with a creative team in Kota.
• Relevant coursework, certification, or prior professional experience in film, media, or related fields is preferred.
