Job Title: Freelance Ethnic Wear Designer (Kurtis)
Job Type: Freelance / Contract
We are looking for a creative and experienced Freelance Ethnic Wear Designer to design and develop women's kurtis. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of current fashion trends, garment construction, fabric utilization, and sample development.
Responsibilities:
Create original kurti designs and design concepts.
Prepare sketches, design sheets, and specifications for production.
Develop patterns and measurements as required.
Coordinate and oversee sample stitching and fitting.
Suggest design details, trims, prints, embroidery, and styling elements.
Ensure designs are practical for manufacturing and cost-effective.
Work closely with our team to develop new collections and product ranges.
Requirements:
Experience in ethnic wear, kurti, or women's apparel design.
Knowledge of garment construction, patterns, and fit.
Ability to create technical specifications and design presentations.
Understanding of textile fabrics and production processes.
Strong creativity and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently on a freelance basis and meet deadlines.
