Job Description
What you’ll do
To work towards analysing the cases highlighted either by the fraud control system or other data points as potential frauds and prevent/ stop fraud from causing financial/ reputation damage to Vodafone, within the defined turn-around time.
Who you are
• Timely closure of alarms generated by the fraud control tool
• Escalation of cases to the stake holders- wherever required
• timely detection and prevention of fraudulent activities
• Desk top investigation to identify the related fraud incidents
• Do root cause analysis on frauds detected
• Maintain all records pertaining to the investigation methodically in the designed format
• Ensure security of data handled
Technical Knowledge/ experience:
Mandatory
• Command on MS-Office
• Knowledge of system UAT procedures
• Strong understanding in Data Analysis
• Knowledge of telecom/ Banking fraud control domain
• Flair for handling multiple systems/ applications
Desirable
• Hands on knowledge of predictive analysis concepts
• Good grip on analytical tools and techniques; comfortable using very large (>10’s millions rows) datasets, containing both structured and unstructured data
Academic Qualification:
• Degree in any discipline (preference is for those with technical back ground)
• Minimum experience of 2-3 years in Analytics / Fraud Control / Revenue Assurance,
