Our Fraud Analyst will be held accountable for:
• Uphold SmartBank Core Values and Core Purpose.
• Performing an analysis of daily reports and accounts, monthly, and/or quarterly to detect questionable activity.
• Assist in reviewing and analyzing fraud alerts provided by the Verafin monitoring system and other monitoring systems that identifies accounts that may be engaging in, or being targeted for, illegal and/or fraudulent activity.
• Completes investigations while ensuring cases meet or exceed closure and quality metrics.
• Reports facts of the investigation to assist in identifying potential operational or compliance risks.
Education & Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of banking experience.
• Experience and/ or strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Displays excellent organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):
• Annual Fraud training will be required
