As a Framer, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, ensuring that all framing work is completed accurately and efficiently. Duties
Construct and install frameworks for buildings using wood or metal materials.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
Utilize power tools and equipment safely to perform framing tasks.
Execute drywall installation and metal stud framing as required by project plans.
Ensure all framing meets local building codes and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other construction team members to complete projects on time.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Skills
Proficient in frame carpentry techniques and installation processes.
Experience with drywall, metal building erection, and metal stud framing.
Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
Familiarity with various power tools used in construction.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of siding installation techniques is a plus.
