Job Description
Position: Framer / Construction Labourer- Trailer Manufacturing Facility
Salary: $25/hr To start with room for advancement
Location: Acheson
Permanent Full Time Position with Overtime available
Seeking experienced Framers for our Clients Trailer manufacturing facility. Candidates should have at least 6+ months of Framing experience .
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow scope of work unless direct otherwise by the Foreman/Lead hand
* Laying out and framing walls, subfloors/skids, roof systems etc for Commercial Trailers
* Directing and assisting zoom boom/forklift operators to raise and secure wall/roofing sections
* Assisting Carpenters as required
* Assisting Drywall crews as required
* Ensure all safety codes are followed and proper safety attire is always worn.
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* Previous Drywall experience
* Ability to take direction and follow through on instructions
* General construction safety knowledge
* Committed dedication to safety; reflected in practice and experience
Physical Requirements
* Stand or walk for long periods of time
* Ability to stand, crouch, and kneel for long periods of time
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
* Climbing stairs/ladders regularly
* Exposure to hazards such as heights, power tools, slips, falls, falling objects, and sharp hand tools
