Duties
Erect metal buildings and install metal stud framing according to technical schematics and blueprints
Interpret construction plans and schematics accurately to guide framing and structural assembly
Measure dimensions precisely using hand tools and power tools, ensuring all components fit perfectly
Assemble and install wall frames, roof trusses, and flooring systems with attention to detail and safety standards
Perform concrete forming tasks, including rebar installation and finishing to prepare for concrete pours
Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting and positioning large structural elements
Conduct masonry work, plastering, siding, stucco application, and roofing as needed for project completion
Read blueprints and technical drawings to interpret specifications for framing, siding, or restoration projects
Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to all safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle
Skills
Extensive experience in metal building erection, framing, and concrete forming techniques
Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics
Strong knowledge of rebar installation, masonry, roofing, siding, stucco, and plastering processes
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation
Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately for precise construction work
Experience with trim carpentry, woodworking, drywall installation, and remodeling projects
Familiarity with construction management practices and site safety procedures
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in interpreting complex plans
Physical capability for heavy lifting, working at heights on scaffolding or ladders, and long hours on-site
Knowledge of metal stud framing systems and the use of schematics for complex assemblies
