OckyPocky is implementing learning solutions for children keeping in mind that every kid has a unique set of abilities and learning acumen. We are building a platform that takes this into account and treats each child in a unique way to make learning fun and meaningful.
We are founded by ex-Googler and Head of YouTube Education APAC - looking to disrupt the space of kids learning. We are a fun loving team with great balanced workplace culture and a strong emphasis on good values.
At OckyPocky, we’re opening up a unique opportunity — a role where you work directly with our founders or leadership team to help them build and grow the company! In this role, you will play an important part in helping us build and launch new products, iterate to get to product-market fit, build strategic partnerships, design go-to-market strategies and establish key business opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for exponential growth, fast learning, and a chance to lead by example in a thriving startup environment.
In reality, this role doesn’t come with a definition or a checklist of job responsibilities. As Founders’ Staff, you will be expected to have a whatever-it-takes approach to help the founders on some of the key business areas.
About this Role
We are looking for a very special person - one who will be among the founders to help us effectively execute our mission & making OckyPocky the most loved product. You simply live and breathe the product. You also strategize and set direction for the company. By being a part of the leadership team, you also mentor the team in improving their essential skills and support in getting the right people for the right job.
This role doesn't come with a defined set of responsibilities and you will essentially have to be someone with proven experience of building a product & also who will do whatever it takes to scale OckyPocky with us.

1 - 7 years of total experience
Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership role in a consumer product based startup (edtech is even better)
Ensured that the Product's technical aspects aligned with the business, vision & mission
Communicated technology strategy to colleagues and investors
An understanding of budgets and business planning
Scaled yourself to become a tech leader
An ex-entrepreneur will be preferred
A keen interest in learning about business.
You are an entrepreneur at heart, i.e you are not only excited about startups but also really understand what it is like to work in one.
You do not wait for instructions and guidelines but believe in taking end-to-end ownership of things.
You are excited to learn new things and do not shy away from going above and beyond the traditional growth paths. You have strong communication skills.
You find yourself geeking out over blogs from Y Combinator, First Round, a16z etc.
You can quickly adapt to the changing environment and are quick to pick up new skills if required to get the job done.

Based on the interest and expertise that you develop with time, Founder’s Staff candidates can expect to go on to either lead their own teams, launch us in new markets or create new products.
