We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver/Shipper to join our warehouse team. This role is shipping/receiving and organizing metal racks. Some physical strength is needed...a Licence is a bonus. Family business...good working conditions.
Duties
Operate forklift, clamp truck, and order picker equipment safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring proper handling and placement.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment .
Maintain accurate records of shipped and received items, adhering to company procedures.
Perform heavy lifting as needed to move items within the warehouse.
Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents or damage during operations.
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Skills
Warehouse experience an asset
Proficiency in operating forklift, sit down and stand up.
Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Good attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment.
Quiet environment
We are looking for someone on the younger side to stay and grow with our company. Hours 8 am to 4 pm...Fridays close at 3 pm. Parking and public transport close by.
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
