Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within a warehouse environment.
Duties
Operate a forklift to move materials around the warehouse
Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment
Load and unload products from trailers or containers
Stack and store merchandise in the appropriate areas
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Assist in other warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
Experience operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment
Familiarity with warehouse management systems
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor
Proficiency in order picking and distribution processes
Basic math skills for inventory counts
Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
Certification in operating a forklift is a plus
Experience with clamp trucks or order pickers is advantageous
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.94-$22.41 per hour
