Forklift Driver
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
Operating controls to align forklifts and raise and lower forks to stack and unstack items
Transporting goods to designated areas
Ensuring frames, packages and other goods are stored in correct areas
Monitoring equipment operation, inspecting and controlling equipment to identify wear and damage
Servicing and performing minor repairs and adjustments to forklifts
Transporting frames, packaging, and any lifting required
Maintain Health and Safety practices
Maintain operational standards
Follow supervisors’ instructions
Loading frames/pallets into trucks
General health and safety compliance responsibilities
Qualifications and Previous Experience
Forklifts must be operated in accordance with the safety code for forklift operators (Department of Labour Guidelines)
Full forklift OSH Accredited license
