Join Shangri-La Sydney as Food Beverage Team Leader - Lobby Lounge!


Shangri-La Sydney is looking for skilled Food Beverage Team Leader to join our Lobby Lounge team.


What You’ll Do:

Ensures compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and SFSMS standards, including maintaining records and cleaning schedules.
Monitors staff performance, and grooming; conducts training and prepares rosters based on operational needs.
Oversees inventory control, approves requisitions, and monitors expenses in line with budgeted costs.
Maintains stock levels, attends FB meetings, and submits reports and requests according to hotel policies.
Delivers high service standards through regular quality checks, cleanliness oversight, and equipment maintenance coordination.
coordination. supervises daily operations, supports the team, performs FB attendant duties, manages guest interactions, and handles complaints per hotel protocol.

About you:

Experience in hotel, restaurant or cafe environments.
Customer service experience in a similar setting
Excellent communication skills in reading and writing English.
Minimum of 1 year experience in as Food Beverage Team Leader.
Understanding of workplace practices in Work Health and Safety
Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
