Job Description
Onsite Sign Group is hiring a Dispatcher & Fleet Manager to take ownership of dispatch, fleet management, and compliance for our installation and service operations across Alberta and Saskatchewan.
This is a senior operations role with real accountability. You will be responsible for keeping crews productive, vehicles compliant and job-ready, and schedules running smoothly with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Dispatch & Scheduling
Plan and manage daily and weekly schedules for installation and service crews
Assign trucks, trailers, equipment, and manpower based on job scope and location
Adjust schedules in real time due to weather, breakdowns, or site changes
Communicate clearly with field crews and operations staff
Fleet Management & Compliance
Manage company trucks, trailers, and specialized equipment
Track insurance, registrations, and compliance documentation
Schedule preventative maintenance and repairs
Coordinate CVIP inspections, crane inspections, and other regulatory inspections
Reduce downtime through proactive maintenance and planning
Maintain accurate fleet and compliance records
Operations & Coordination
Act as the main point of contact between crews, project managers, and leadership
Identify scheduling issues, fleet gaps, or inefficiencies before they become problems
Provide leadership with visibility into fleet readiness and crew availability
Administrative & Reporting
Maintain dispatch logs and schedules
Track fleet usage and maintenance history
Ensure records are accurate, current, and organized
Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of experience in dispatching, fleet management, logistics, or operations coordination
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Clear communication skills with field crews and management
Experience in construction, industrial, or field-service environments is a strong asset
Compensation
This is not an entry-level role. Compensation reflects the level of ownership and responsibility expected.
Salary range: $85,000–$105,000 per year, based on experience and capability.
Success in this role means crews are productive, vehicles are compliant and job-ready, and issues are solved before they reach leadership.
Location
This position is based in Lloydminster, Edmonton, or Calgary.
Remote work is not available.
