A growing and national provider of fire protection services is looking for experienced fire door installers/engineers to join their team. You will be working on both domestic and commercial projects, carrying out new installations, upgrades and maintenance works too existing doors and frames. The works will be predominantly based in the South of England however may stretch further across the UK - travel and the need to stay/work away will be required. Project variety includes working on student accommodation, hospitals, data centres and social housing.

Roles and responsibilities
• Installing and carrying out remedial works to new and existing fire doors
• Complete works in line with the manufacture’s specification
• Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately
• Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work
• Liaise with customers and members of the general public
The successful candidate will have:
• At least two years experience working with fire doors
• A strong background in carpentry and joinery
• NVQ or equivalent in carpentry
• Experience installing fire doors and frames
• Experience upgrading and remediating existing doors and frames
• Experience working on social housing FRA contracts
• Full UK driving license
• 3rd party accreditation/registration under the FIRAS scheme (desired)
