Job Title: Workday Adaptive Planning + NetSuite Expert Techno-Functional Role FP&A Transformation -Financial Systems Consultant
Experience : 6 to 10 years
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Adaptive Planning + NetSuite Techno-Functional Consultant to join our finance transformation team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing and optimizing enterprise financial planning systems , with a strong ability to bridge business requirements and technical solutions. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact FP&A initiatives and work closely with senior finance leaders.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end implementation and enhancement of Workday Adaptive Planning solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain multi-dimensional financial models (Workforce, Revenue, CapEx, Opex) using Level, Cube, and Modeled Sheets.
• Develop and implement driver-based planning, rolling forecasts, and scenario simulations .
• Integrate NetSuite ERP with Adaptive Planning using REST/SOAP APIs and ETL tools.
• Translate business requirements into technical system solutions while ensuring financial accuracy.
• Create calculated accounts, allocation logic, and dynamic modeling scenarios .
• Manage data reconciliation, governance, and validation between NetSuite and Adaptive Planning.
• Optimize system performance for large datasets and concurrent users .
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production rollouts, and post-implementation enhancements .
• Collaborate with CFOs, FP&A leaders, and business stakeholders to provide strategic financial insights .
Required Skills & Experience
• 6–10 years of experience in FP&A systems, financial modeling, and ERP integrations.
• Hands-on Workday Adaptive Planning implementation experience (not just support).
• Strong NetSuite ERP expertise (GL, Revenue, P2P, O2C modules).
• Experience with driver-based and multi-dimensional planning .
• Solid understanding of financial consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and FP&A processes .
• Proficiency in integration tools (Boomi, MuleSoft, Celigo, Workday Integration Cloud).
• Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, macros preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Technical Competencies
• Workday Adaptive Planning (Advanced Modeling & Reporting)
• NetSuite ERP (Customization, Saved Searches, Financial Modules)
• SQL / Data Warehousing concepts
• Business Intelligence tools: Power BI, Tableau
• Scripting / Automation (Python, JavaScript – preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
• Workday Adaptive Planning Certification (Advanced)
• NetSuite Certification
• Experience in multi-entity/global environments
• Exposure to financial consolidation or ERP ecosystems
