We are a multinational hotel group seeking a motivated Financial Reporting & Analysis Analyst to support financial reporting, performance analysis, budgeting, and operational decision-making across our portfolio of hotels.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who can turn financial and operational data into clear insights and practical recommendations for management.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, management reports, and variance analyses.
Review hotel profit and loss statements and identify key performance trends, risks, and opportunities.
Analyze revenue, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, labour costs, departmental expenses, and profitability.
Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planning.
Compare actual results against budgets, forecasts, prior periods, and industry benchmarks.
Work with hotel teams to investigate variances and improve financial performance.
Develop dashboards, financial models, and executive-level presentations.
Assist with month-end reporting, account reconciliations, and data validation.
Support acquisition analysis, capital expenditure reviews, and other strategic projects.
Improve reporting processes, controls, and data accuracy across the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Two to five years of experience in financial reporting, FP&A, accounting, or financial analysis.
Strong knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modelling.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with both finance and operational teams.
High level of accuracy, judgment, discretion, and professional integrity.
Preferred Experience
Experience in hotels, hospitality, real estate, or a multi-location business is preferred.
Familiarity with hotel performance metrics, including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and GOP, is preferred.
Experience with accounting systems, hotel property-management systems, Power BI, or other reporting tools is preferred.
CPA designation or progress toward a CPA designation is an asset.
