More information is available at www.sophos.comRole SummaryAs a Financial Accountant, you will be a part of a Global Accounts Payable team, and will be taking care one of the region of the accounts payable. You will be responsible for accounting of all invoices received and payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. This will involve, monitoring of accounts payable mail box, compiling and maintaining accounts payable records, also providing administrative support as needed. We are looking for a person who have understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You should be highly organized and detail-oriented and possess the ability to effectively work both independently and in a team. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.What You Will DoYou will be primarily responsible for accounts payable operation of DACH region (German speaking EMEA region)Managing shared mail box for Accounts PayableDealing with internal/external queries of stakeholdersCo-ordination with various stakeholders, obtaining approvals and resolving issues around invoice accountingVendor master managementResponsible for processing timely payments to vendorsPrepare and maintain daily, weekly, monthly reportsNOTE: This role follows the UK Shift timings (2pm to 11pm IST)What You Will BringCommerce Graduate / Master of Commers or Business AdministrationTotal working experience of 3 years, and minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable / financial accountingExperience handling AP operations for international regions like APJ, EMEA or USKnowledge of accounting in widely accepted accounting software (SAP preferred)Good knowledge of working on MS Office, specifically on ExcelGreat time management and organization skillExcellent collaboration and communication abilitiesKnowledge of German language will be added advantageNOTE: This is a junior role.#B1Whats Great About Sophos?
