We are looking for a Finance Support Representative, Insurance, so if you’re passionate about financial reporting and data processing and have experience in data entry, balancing transactions and reconciliations, we’d like to hear from you.

This opportunity offers the ability to work remotely from anywhere in British Columbia.

What’s the role?

As a Finance Support Representative, Insurance, you excel at data processing while adhering to established accounting policies and practices to ensure data integrity. You are responsible for processing monthly reconciliations and investigating unusual variances/outages. You will assist internal and external auditors by providing reports and other reconciliation documents as requested. Working with a team of Finance professionals, you will act as a resource for the organization with regards to account related inquiries and provide accounting support as needed.

What are we looking for?

Successful completion of a two (2) - three (3)-year recognized post-secondary program, preferably in accounting
Minimum of three (3) years experience in an accounting position
Demonstrated experience using financial software - Acumatica, EPIC
Previous experience with a financial institution or in the insurance industry is an asset
Ideally, you are a flexible, collaborative team player with:

Working knowledge of financial statements, full cycle accounting and internal controls
Ability to understand and interpret accounting transactions to ensure financial information is reliable and consistent
Ability to effectively and accurately balance accounting transactions

Career Band Range (Hourly wage) - $23.04 to $32.71

The posted salary range is designed to reflect a broad career band, encompassing a variety of roles within our organization and serves as a general guideline. Your final compensation will be tailored to your unique skills, experience, and the responsibilities of the role.
