About the Role
We are looking for a Finance Lead to join our growing remittance business and take ownership of financial operations while supporting regulatory engagement and licensing activities.
This is a high-impact role where you will work closely with senior leadership and engage with regulators as part of the licensing and ongoing compliance process. You will play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity of the business as we scale.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead financial aspects of licence applications (e.g., capital adequacy, financial projections)
Support regulatory engagement, including responding to queries and participating in meetings
Oversee financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
Ensure compliance with regulatory financial requirements and safeguarding obligations
Develop and maintain robust financial controls and processes
Support audits (internal/external) and regulatory reviews
Partner with compliance and operations teams on regulatory and strategic initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years’ experience in finance within fintech, payments, or remittance
Experience supporting licence applications or regulatory processes
Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and forecasting
Familiarity with regulatory financial requirements (e.g., safeguarding, capital requirements)
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
Nice to Have
ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification (or equivalent)
Experience in a startup or high-growth fintech
Exposure to cross-border payments or remittance
Prior experience engaging with regulators.
