Job Description
Responsibilities:
Position: Head (Accounts and Finance)
- Handling independently the Banking Limits approval or its renewal in the range of 40 to 50 crores
- Knowledge of Trade Finance Instruments like handling Imports Documentation, documentation of LC, SBLC, BG, Buyers Credit, etc.
- Should be well versed with the Import Banking Transactions.
- Monitoring and analyzing financial data and produce financial reports or statements
- Banking Liaisoning/ Correspondence for L/C opening Discounting, Bill Discounting, Structured Trade Finance, Limit renewal, review of various charges etc. with PSU as well as Private Banks.
- Preparation of CMA Data, Projections etc.
- Identification of Fundings sources from non-banking financial institutions as well.
- Liasioning with Auditors, Tax Department, etc
- Looking after Hedging currency risks.
- Preparing term sheets for funding with BFSI and Banking clients.
- Developing and executing fundraising strategies and fostering ongoing relationships with donors.
- Produce monthly management accounts and own its process management documentation.
- Uncover and drive process improvement opportunities across the Finance team.
- Provide informal training and guidance for junior members of the Finance team.
- Define and track critical success metrics and KPIs of the business, collaborating with other divisions to address them.
- Build actionable reports and dashboards for wider distribution.
- Run regular in-depth analysis of financials to gain key insights and ensure accuracy.
- Work closely with the leadership team on strategy, roadmap, and targets for the business, and advise on hiring decisions and market opportunities.
- Assist the investor relations team with key financial deliverables and ad-hoc requests.
- Liaison with business teams in establishing project budgets and forecasts for both short and long terms.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, MIS and statements
- Assess financing alternatives by considering risk, return, and market conditions
- Should have experience in analysing trade finance structures, proposals received from Banks, multiple customers/ suppliers - both domestic and overseas
- Prepare an analysis of financing needs for major capital equipment, working capital, and other financing needs
- Developing and executing fundraising strategies and fostering ongoing relationships with donors.
Skills and requisites :
- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with demonstrable commercial (and managerial) experience of 5+ years.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, specifically in Excel, macros, data analysis, and pivot tables.
- Proven working experience as Finance Manager with extensive financial statement modeling experience will be an added advantage.
- Experience of working with finance systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, etc).
- Ability to problem-solve, both autonomously and within teams.
- High integrity and natural desire to assume responsibility.
