Looking for steady full-time work with benefits and vacation? Join M.I. Cable Technologies as a Filling Operator. This is a hands-on, entry-level role starting at $21 per hour, with comprehensive health benefits and a consistent Monday to Friday rotating shift schedule. Employees work one week from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by one week from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with the schedule repeating every two weeks.
Job Summary
The Filling Operator is an entry-level production role responsible for assembling and preparing cable components in a safe and efficient manner. Working under the direction of the Filling Crew Chief, this position involves hands-on tasks such as cleaning raw materials, preparing product, and handling materials, as well as maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and seeks stable, full-time work with opportunities for growth in a supportive manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Perform tasks such as cleaning, straightening, and preparing rods and tubes
Safely operate hoists and other equipment
Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized
Report equipment issues or maintenance needs to the Filling Crew Chief
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety practices
Take part in training and remain up to date on work instructions
Complete other duties as assigned
Experience
Previous experience in manufacturing settings is preferred.
Experience following written work instructions is an asset.
Comfortable using basic hand tools or operating machinery is helpful, but full training is provided.
