Field Trip Rental Car Driver

Job Summary: Multiple temporary hourly-intermittent Student Assistant positions are available in Biological Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving students to field trip destinations, ensuring their safety, and completing a two-hour online Defensive Driving course. This position is available on or after September 3, 2026, and ending on or before May 31, 2026, with the possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

Responsibilities:
Responsible driving students to field trip destinations
Ensuring the safety of students being transported
Completing a two-hour online Defensive Driving course
Requirements:
Must be over 21 years of age
Must have a valid California Driver's License
Must show proof of a good driving record
Must have passed an online Defensive Driving Course
Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units
Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units
Working Conditions:
This is a part-time, temporary position available on or after September 3, 2026, and ending on or before May 31, 2026.

Salary:
$16.00 per hour
