Full job description
Overview
Provide technical and product training to Clampitt Paper customers and internal personnel. Plan for customer support activities; responsible for quality and productivity of maintenance and support activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support equipment sales activities. Work with sales representatives to educate customers on equipment capabilities and assist in closing equipment sales.
Provide post sale equipment support.
Provide onsite technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment.
Coordinate problem resolution with vendors, customers and others.
Manage territory, inventory and customer relationships.
Successful completion of training with various printer and wide format products such as OKI, Mimaki, and Canon.
Establish and maintain up-to-date file of service manuals, training materials, spare part lists, etc.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent customer service skills.
Professional, courteous demeanor.
Experience in multiple hardware/software disciplines required.
Field support experience.
Travel required.
Must be able to work independently.
Ability to lift 50Lbs. Must be able to perform essential functions of the job: stoop, kneel. crouch, reach with arms, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, hear, see and talk.
