Position Overview
The Pre-Primary Mother Teacher will be responsible for
nurturing, teaching, and emotionally supporting young learners
. The role requires fluency in English, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to engage every child through creative, play-based, and developmentally appropriate methods.
Key Responsibilities
Create a
safe, warm, and inclusive classroom environment
where every child feels secure and confident
Ensure
active involvement of every child
in classroom activities
Teach
fundamental concepts
(language, numeracy, motor skills, life skills) using age-appropriate methods
Implement
NCF-aligned curriculum
and lesson plans
Effectively teach
phonics
and early language skills
Use
play-based learning, storytelling, music, movement, and hands-on activities
Comfort, guide, and emotionally support children when required
Maintain and update
student planners
, worksheets, and learning records
Observe and track
individual student progress and development
Communicate constructively with parents regarding the childs progress
Collaborate with coordinators and follow the schools academic planning
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Performance will be evaluated based on:
Quality and consistency of
student planner maintenance
Student performance and engagement levels
Use of
innovative and creative teaching methodologies
Ability to
comfort, manage, and emotionally handle children
Classroom discipline, hygiene, and overall environment
Required Skills & Competencies
Fluency in
spoken and written English
Strong
child-handling and classroom management skills
Ability to engage diverse learners
Creativity, patience, empathy, and enthusiasm
Understanding of early childhood development
Willingness to adopt new teaching strategies
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
Graduate (any discipline)
Preferred Certifications:
Montessori, NTT, ECCE, or equivalent early childhood education certifications
(Candidates with these certifications will be offered better salary packages)
Experience
Minimum 1 year
of relevant teaching experience in pre-primary classes
Salary & Benefits
Salary Range:
₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month
(Final salary depends on skills, qualifications, certifications, and performance)
Annual Appraisal:
10% – 15% salary hike based on performance
Working Hours:
7.5 hours per day
Leaves:
12 Casual Leaves per year
1 Emergency leave every month
