• *Responsibilities**:

- **Create Mood Boards**: Develop inspiring mood boards to guide and communicate design concepts.
- **Research and Development**: Conduct thorough research, plan, and develop ranges based on themes. Collaborate with the design team, buyers, and forecasters to meet briefs.
- **Collaboration**: Liaise closely with the ECOMM team and production teams to ensure products align with customer needs, market trends, and price points.
- **Fabric, Print, and Embroidery Development**: Coordinate with the team to develop fabric, prints, and embroidery designs.
- **Technical Understanding**: Understand design from a technical perspective, including producing patterns and technical specifications. Conduct fabric and garment performance tests for each design/order.
- **Pre-production Management**: Manage pre-production activities, including fit testing and pre-production samples. Create and maintain Time and Action Plans for each order.
- **Cost Structures and Consumptions**: Have a strong understanding of cost structures and consumptions for each order.
- **Sourcing**: Visit trade shows and manufacturers to source, select, and purchase fabrics, trims, fastenings, and embellishments.
- **Event Handling**: Identify and participate in the best pop-up shows across India. Ability to handle events effectively.
- **Mass Production Adaptation**: Adapt existing designs for mass production, ensuring quality and consistency.
- **Pattern Development**: Develop patterns that are cut and sewn into sample garments. Supervise creation, fitting, detailing, and adaptations.
• *Requirements**:

- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in working with fabrics such as Canric prints, Satin, Linen, knits cotton.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
