Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team at TEJOO FASHIONS, based in Delhi. This full-time, mid-level position requires a deep passion for fashion design with a focus on women's ethnic wear. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of relevant experience and will play a pivotal role in designing innovative and trendy garments that align with our brand's philosophy of offering fashionable, yet affordable options.
Qualifications And Skills
• Proven experience of 4-6 years in fashion design specifically in women's ethnic wear with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO3D, and CAD software (Mandatory skill) along with technical sketching (Mandatory skill).
• Expertise in trend forecasting, particularly in ethnic wear design, ensuring designs are contemporary and appealing.
• Solid understanding of textiles based on season, occasion, purpose, and technical aspects/properties.
• Ability to create commercially viable and trendy ethnic wear designs that meet customer demands.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and convey design concepts.
• Attention to detail and an innovative approach to design are essential for this role.
• Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of design collections.
Roles And Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the design team to create innovative and trend-setting designs for women's ethnic wear.
• Conduct extensive research on fashion trends, cultural aesthetics, and market demands to inform design decisions.
• Develop detailed and accurate technical sketches and CAD designs for approval and production.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are accurately translated into finished garments.
• Manage the entire design process from concept to final product, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Participate in collection reviews and fitting sessions, making necessary adjustments to designs as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fabrics, trims, and color palettes relevant to ethnic wear.
• Contribute creatively to brand development and marketing strategies in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
