Fashion Design and Merchandising Role for Menswear

We are building a luxury men's fashion brand that reimagines the Indian man's wardrobe from the ground up, combining timeless, masculine, modern styles with exceptional craftsmanship.

This role is part of our core team, responsible for creating premium menswear collections, overseeing production, and ensuring the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop full menswear collections, including shirts, trousers, outerwear, and essentials.
Create moodboards, CADs, and detailed tech packs to guide production.
Select high-quality fabrics, trims, and finishes that align with our premium aesthetic.
Oversee sampling, manage tailors, pattern makers, and craftsmen to ensure flawless execution.
Conduct fittings, make technical corrections, and guarantee finishing quality.
Visit factories and manufacturing hubs to place large orders and ensure timely delivery.
Prioritize collections in alignment with pricing strategy, margins, and product mix for each drop.
Requirements:
4-10 years of experience in menswear design and development.
Degree from a reputable fashion school such as NIFT, Pearl, or Marangoni.
In-depth knowledge of tailoring, fabrics, pattern making, and production processes.
Experience working closely with both creative and manufacturing teams.
Strong commercial awareness, including costing, SKUs, and sellability.
A mature design sensibility rooted in quality, timelessness, and attention to detail.
