Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Fashion Designer with expertise in luxury menswear and womenswear. You will be responsible for transforming design concepts into production-ready garments while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship, fit, and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate combines creative vision with strong technical knowledge and has experience developing premium apparel from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities
• Design luxury menswear and womenswear collections aligned with the Ethreal Chic brand philosophy.
• Develop original silhouettes, garment concepts, and seasonal design directions.
• Create professional fashion illustrations, technical flats, and production-ready tech packs.
• Prepare detailed measurement specifications, grading, and construction guidelines.
• Research global fashion trends, luxury craftsmanship, textiles, and design innovations.
• Select appropriate fabrics, trims, buttons, interlinings, labels, and finishing details.
• Collaborate with pattern makers, sample developers, and manufacturing partners.
• Review prototypes, conduct fittings, and provide technical corrections.
• Ensure exceptional garment fit, comfort, functionality, and finishing.
• Maintain consistency across collections, ensuring every product reflects the Ethreal Chic identity.
• Stay informed about premium materials, sustainable practices, and advancements in garment construction.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• 3-8+ years of experience in premium or luxury fashion.
• Strong expertise in both menswear and womenswear design.
• Excellent understanding of garment construction and pattern development.
• Experience creating detailed technical packs for manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong sketching, illustration, and presentation skills.
• Deep understanding of luxury fabrics such as linen, cotton, silk, wool, cashmere, and blends.
• Ability to communicate effectively with manufacturers and technical teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience working on premium or luxury brands inspired by the craftsmanship and design standards of internationally recognized fashion houses will be highly valued.
