Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Conceptualize, design, and style ethnic wear collections, with a focus on sarees and blouses, combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics.
• Collaborate with artisans and weavers to develop new designs, motifs, fabric blends, and handcrafted products while preserving traditional techniques.
• Source fabrics, trims, and materials, and manage product sampling and prototyping with artisan clusters and vendors.
• Plan and curate collections based on seasonal trends, customer preferences, and market insights.
• Ensure high standards of quality in craftsmanship, fit, finishing, and overall product presentation.
• Conduct trend research on ethnic wear, handloom products, consumer preferences, and industry developments.
• Coordinate with production and inventory teams to manage timelines, stock levels, and product availability.
• Support photoshoots, lookbooks, and marketing campaigns by providing styling and visual merchandising inputs.
