Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Designer role based at Hiresa Designer Store in Jodhpur. The Fashion Designer will develop design concepts, create sketches, select fabrics and trims, and oversee sample development for new collections. Daily tasks include coordinating fittings, refining patterns and silhouettes, and ensuring garments meet quality and fit standards. The role involves close collaboration with embroiderers, tailors, and the production team to translate design ideas into finished pieces. The Fashion Designer will also research trends, explore innovative textile applications, and support merchandising and styling for in-store displays.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, including concept development, sketching, and a keen sense of style and aesthetics.
• Candidates should possess skills in Textiles, with knowledge of fabric properties, drape, and appropriate material selection for various designs.
• Candidates should possess Embroidery skills, with the ability to design and guide detailed hand or machine embroidery work.
• Candidates should possess Fitting skills, including understanding garment construction, measurements, and adjustments for a precise fit.
• Relevant skills such as pattern making, garment construction, and familiarity with design software (e.g., Illustrator, CAD tools) are beneficial.
• Qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Fashion Design or a related field, and prior experience in a boutique or designer store environment, are preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management abilities, along with attention to detail and willingness to work on-site in Jodhpur, are essential.
