We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and versatile Fashion and Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for children’s fashion, a keen eye for trends and design, and the ability to adapt to different brand aesthetics. This role involves designing innovative and stylish clothes for babies, ensuring comfort, safety, and quality, as well as contributing to graphic design projects for other brands.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and development: Create original designs for baby clothes, including onesies, rompers, dresses, and sleepwear for special occasions and themes, including both ethnic and modern clothing. Develop mood boards, sketches, and prototypes.
• Trend Analysis: Research current market trends, fabric innovations, and competitor products to ensure our designs are up-to-date and competitive.
• Material selection: Choose appropriate fabrics, colors, and patterns that are safe and comfortable for babies.
• Technical skills: Use design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD programs to create detailed designs and technical specifications.
• Quality Control: Ensure all designs meet safety standards and are durable for baby wear.
• Cost Management: Develop designs within the allocated budget and meet production deadlines.
• Customer Feedback: Incorporate customer feedback into design improvements and new collections.
• Graphic Design: Utilize graphic design skills for creating promotional materials, packaging, and other brand-related content.
• Brand Flexibility: Work on design projects for other brands as required, adapting to different styles and brand guidelines.
Qualifications:
• Education: Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in fashion design, preferably in baby or children’s clothing. Experience in graphic design is a plus.
• Skills: Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD). Strong understanding of fabric types, garment construction, and safety standards for baby clothing.
• Creativity: Strong creative vision and the ability to design unique, appealing, and functional baby clothes.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in design and production processes.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work on various design projects beyond baby clothes, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Additional Requirements:
• Portfolio demonstrating previous work, especially in baby or children’s fashion, and graphic design projects.
