In this position you will serve as a senior professional Engineer/Architect for WPAFB’s Civil Engineer Energy Management Program. You will provide professional support for WPAFB’s 610 Buildings (16.7MSF) supporting more than 115 Mission Partners. This position focus on utility service contracts/billing, energy resiliency/conservation planning, project development, and optimizing WPAFB’s facility and utility infrastructure. This position incorporates asset management principles within all Facility/Infrastructure plans for inclusion into the Installation Development Plan, Customer Facility Strategic Plans, and the Installation Energy Plan. Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship. Obtain & maintain Security clearance. Education requirements (per OPM Standards). Financial Disclosure Statement. Knowledge of a wide range of multidisciplinary professional engineering concepts and principles to effectively apply advanced engineering concepts to project planning, development and future. Knowledge of the principles of facility and infrastructure planning and program management. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy, both orally and in writing, as well as work in a professional manner with peers, management, contractors, academia, and other agencies.
