Job Description
The Facilities AMP Manager shall serve as the engineering expert and work with the sub-AMP managers assigned to the Facilities Sub-AMPs areas of responsibilities. Is responsible for an asset lifecycle management portfolio containing all planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance, repair, sustainment, restoration, modernization (SRM), and demolition of facility assets. This position will be in support of the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP), and it is located at Al Udeid Air Base (AUAB), Doha, Qatar.
Essential Responsibilities:
Advise and assist in a portfolio-wide view of facilities and linear infrastructure at the highest level.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Mechanical Engineer Bachelor’s Degree from an ABET Accredited University.
Must have at least five (5) years’ experience in HVAC systems, plumbing systems, fire protection systems, or building automation systems.
Experience with building codes and standards required.
Required to complete AFIT WENG 200, WENG 400, WMGT 231, WMGT 417. All required courses are offered online or live broadcast and shall be completed through the first available offering after hiring date.
