Job Description
The Export Executive is responsible for managing and coordinating the company’s international export operations, ensuring that orders, documentation, shipments, customs procedures and customer requirements are handled accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Manage export orders from receipt to final delivery.
Coordinate with international customers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, and transporters.
Prepare and verify export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, certificates of origin, bills of lading/airway bills, and other required documents.
Coordinate shipment schedules, cargo pickup, container booking, and dispatch.
Ensure compliance with export regulations, customs requirements, and company procedures.
Track shipments and provide customers with regular status updates.
Coordinate with sales, production, warehouse, finance, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Handle export-related correspondence and resolve shipment or documentation issues.
Maintain accurate records of export orders, shipments, payments, and documentation.
Follow up on outstanding export payments and coordinate with the finance team.
Monitor freight costs and support negotiation with logistics service providers when required.
Prepare export reports, shipment summaries, and other management reports.
Stay updated on international trade regulations, customs procedures, Incoterms, and documentation requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience in export operations, international logistics, or a similar role is preferred.
Good knowledge of export documentation and international shipping procedures.
Familiarity with Incoterms, customs procedures, and international trade practices.
Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and ERP or export-management software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good coordination, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work with international customers and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
