Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and construction, with the ability to work on various projects ranging from residential to commercial. This role requires hands-on experience, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Duties
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Perform construction plumbing tasks on new builds and remodels.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
Read blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
Conduct pipe threading and assembly of pipes as required for installations.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project completion.
Perform heavy lifting as needed for transporting materials and equipment.
Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards.
Skills
Strong knowledge of plumbing techniques and systems.
Experience with construction plumbing, including remodeling projects.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing work.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems is a plus.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations.
Familiarity with pipe threading techniques and materials used in plumbing.
Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety protocols.
Maintenance Person experience is beneficial for diverse job requirements.

Journeyman Delaware and/or Maryland plumbing license

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
