Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Painter to join our team for a short term project.
The ideal candidate will have a background in the automotive painting process and possess strong attention to detail. This position offers the opportunity to take charge of a small team, delegate responsibilities, and ensure quality results within the set time period.
Responsibilities:
- Take over the prep, priming, painting and clear coating of more than 700 electric scooters
- Improve on existing processes to increase production speed
- Assign duties and provide training to team members assisting with the project
- Inspect vehicles quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Skills:
- Proven experience as a painter in an autobody or auto paint shop or similar role
- Proficiency in mixing paints, maintaining tools and keeping an organized work space
- Knowledge of automotive painting techniques and industry standards
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Willingness to work in a non-typical painting environment
