Responsibilities
Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks.
Construct, install, repair, and maintain structures such as framing, siding, roofing, drywall, and cabinetry with precision.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, assemble, and install building components.
Perform trim carpentry including door hanging, fixture installation, caulking, and finishing work to achieve high-quality results.
Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and water damage restoration projects as needed.
Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of tasks while adhering to safety standards.
Maintain a clean workspace by organizing tools and materials while following all safety protocols related to power tool safety and heavy lifting.
Requirements
Proven experience in construction estimating, framing carpentry, roofing, siding installation, or related fields with a strong background in the restoration industry.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately; interpreting technical information is essential.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools; knowledge of CNC machinery or fabrication equipment is a plus.
Familiarity with construction site safety procedures including power tool safety and heavy lifting techniques.
Experience with drywall installation (including plastering), flooring (tile laying), cabinetry installation, metal stud framing, plumbing, electrical work or masonry is highly desirable.
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights; ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail; ability to adapt quickly on complex projects such as remodeling or restoration work.
