Executive Speechwriter (6-Month Contract)
An exciting opportunity for an Executive Speechwriter to join this team and craft impactful, high-quality speeches and communications for senior leaders, including the Minister and executives. This is a unique six-month contract role where you'll make your mark in a fast-paced government environment, managing tight deadlines and competing priorities with ease.
As an Executive Speechwriter, you will:
Create engaging speeches and communication materials for top-level government leaders.
Coach and mentor a talented team of ongoing APS staff, boosting their speechwriting capabilities and adding value to our team.
Juggle competing tasks while delivering excellence under pressure.
Ideal Candidates Will Bring:
Extensive experience in speechwriting for government and executive leaders.
Proven ability to lead capability-building initiatives, helping others to enhance their skills.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
A talent for persuasion and influence, combined with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Essential Requirements:
Solid experience in government and executive speechwriting.
A degree or diploma in journalism, communications, public relations, or marketing (or equivalent experience).
NV1 Clearance - or ability to obtain and retain NV1
