Reporting to the DGM-R&D Mandideep, the Hershey India Private Limited, Mandideep, Research Scientist position provides project leadership on low to medium project’s complexity by leveraging knowledge and experience to drive beverages especially dairy product innovation and growth for the Hershey India Private Limited as a priority but also by supporting prototyping work of projects related with the international key markets when needed.

The candidate will accomplish this by:


Leads low to medium projects from a complexity standpoint
Developing new dairy products and processes
Assist on phases of projects that are of major importance, complexity, or scope.
Use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Problem solving through application of knowledge and creative thinking
Ensuring project execution and technology transfer.
Consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Observing, recording, and evaluating experimental data to draw conclusions
Preparing project reports and presentations

Product, process improvements
Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial areas to develop new ideas
Provide support to QA and Production functions
Interaction with Vendors and suppliers – Share information with R&D
