Responsibilities:
• Analyze workflow and security requirements to establish an efficient and secure network infrastructure.
• Evaluate network performance issues and install, test, and configure equipment, connections, and firewalls to ensure optimal network performance.
• Define policies and procedures for the network, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Monitor and analyze the network on an ongoing basis, proactively identifying and troubleshooting any network problems or performance issues.
• Fine-tune the network to enhance performance for end-users, optimizing network bandwidth and responsiveness.
• Implement, monitor, and evaluate security protocols to protect the network from unauthorized access and potential threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of network infrastructure with other IT systems and applications.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for network improvements and advancements.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in network administration and management, including hands-on experience with network equipment, protocols, and security technologies.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and network troubleshooting methodologies.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and analysis tools.
• Knowledge of network security best practices and ability to implement security measures effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) will be an added advantage.
• Ability to adapt to changing technology trends and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
